(PDT) was able transition from a sometimes jarring voice combination of irreverence and earnest professionalism, to a voice combining both their professional commitment to high-quality products and their support of the dental community on a more personal level. By unifying PDT’s voice, this allowed for not only improvement in their written communication, but visually as well.

Education Logistics, Inc.’s (Edulog) voice had been both detached and highly technical. Codified by long, detailed accounts of their innovative school bus transportation routing software, it was often impenetrable to those approaching without intimate industry knowledge – which was often the case with school administrators looking at proposals brought to them by their transportation directors for the software for the first time.
Starting by working with veteran sales and implementation staff, we created a professional, benefits-focused voice for initial contact levels. By working with those who spent the most time with Edulog’s clients, we were able to create a brand voice that lent itself to not only explaining the improvements the software could implement in terms anyone could understand get behind, but would also transition easily into more technical proposals and documentation that was used to close sales and maintain customer confidence.
By separating stakeholders and refining how information was presented – using product sheets, the website, and video to focus on the benefits of Edulog’s software and relying on more technical documentation to be introduced throughout the sales and implementation process – Edulog was better able to funnel customers along a journey that helped transportation specialists and Edulog representatives effectively present the Edulog solution to stakeholders at the administrative and executive levels.

Vann’s had a long experience with creating engaging and effective copy for both their digital and was where I got my start as a copywriter. During my time there, I was part of and led a team of writers creating unique, SEO-focused content for the hundreds of products featured on our online store-front.
By working out a flexible monthly content calendar, we were able to produce not only these product descriptions, but also a daily blog and ever-present social media presence for three different brands: Vann’s (online and retail consumer electronics and appliances), Big Sky Country (outdoor clothing and sports equipment), and The ON Store (high-end consumer electronics boutique).
In addition to our regular content schedules, we produced a yearly holiday catalog that included not only all of most popular products, but gift buying guides and other articles to help our customers make sense of the wide variety of products available. By keeping a strong content schedule, we were able to produce additional articles and copy where needed in the catalog.
