With a heavy focus early in social media, Vann’s used Twitter and Facebook to help promote both its online storefront and its multiple physical storefronts. Eventually, we branched out to create style guides and policies for individual stores to help them better promote to and engage with location-specific audiences.
Vann’s early use of Pinterest boards was focused less heavily on direct promotion, and more on generating interest through inspiration for home-owners looking to enhance their existing home entertainment setups with custom installed solutions.
Combined with a regular posting and update schedule, these social media strategies were integrated with e-mail, blog, and catalog updates for a unified approach to messaging.
